I came across this useful guide from the NSA on the dos and dont's of listing previous classified work on resumes. Now some of the bullet points are specific to the NSA but others are relevant to any intelligence or security agency in the federal government. The most useful point is probably "In an unclassified manner, describe projects on which you have worked without citing project names."
