Hello: If I resign at age 52 with 18 years of service, can I continue with my FEHB? If not, can I defer it & sign up at retirement age? Thanks!

You may be eligible to continue medical coverage under a COBRA but that can be rather expensive as you have to pay the full cost yourself plus an administrative fee. However it might be a good short term solution. And I think your medical coverage continues for 30 days after you resign (maybe because you pay the premiums in advance). |
