After further research I received my laptop 5 days before my start date. Please keep in mind that an email alerting you that it’s coming and the signature require may not happen so be on the lookout for it

I received my laptop today and I start on 9/13. As stated above, you will not receive any notification it’s coming and you will have to sign for it. I suggest you sign up for UPS notifications. My laptop and supplies were sent via UPS. My laptop was a 1 day delivery from Memphis and my supplies came from Muncie,Indiana I hope this helps.

I accepted a firm offer on 08/30 with a start date of 09/27. i've had no contact since accepting the offer. I am going to put in my notice to my current employer in the next few days, and would really like a phone call/email to confirm that everything is set to go for 09/27. Would it weird to email my hr rep asking for some confirmation that the hiring process is still progressing? or should i just leave it alone? I'm in the military, I know the gov is slow, but this is my first job switch and I'm nervous.

I’m an OJI and some of the hiring for 09/27 is a *****aotic due to time constraints and the end of the fiscal year. It’ll be alright though

MAR - Application
MAY - ROSA
AUG (Beginning) - Referred
AUG (Mid) - Interview
AUG (EOM) - TO & Fingerprint
The interview also got me, I swear I was on the phone for barely 20 mins and that was it. Had all three of my location choices offer at a GS9 and was asked to pick one. TO had a start date of DEC. We'll see what happens next. Thanks for sharing your timeline. Mine is similar except no interview yet. APRIL (end) - applied MAY (end) - ROSA August (beginning) - referral email Still waiting. Has anyone interviewed for Jacksonville or Daytona Beach, FL? Congrats to all who have received FO’s!

Hello Everyone, I'm a bit confused. I applied to the Recent Graduate Revenue Officer opening back in July. I understand I missed the priority deadline. Recently my application status was updated to "Referred to Selecting Official" for both the GS-05 and GS-07 position. I never received an email stating that I was referred. Would anyone know if they are still hiring and what my chances for an interview are looking like?

When you say again in 2022, will that be a new announcement or just continue hiring from the previous vacancies?

Things are picking up speed now for me. I have my fingerprint/cred date and a bunch of other tasks. The interviewer did tell me that if I was to be hired they were looking at sometime in October. While I'm happy for a sooner date; I'm going to have to make some arrangements because I'll have to move. The POD I wanted was in 150 miles, but the one they gave me is not unfortunately. However, I still think it'll be worth it in the end.

Anyone get TO or FO for the CA Reveune Officer training dates? I recently had my interview August 27 and the interviewer said they had to submit all the interviews to OPM by September 7 which is their deadline and I should expect to hear within a week from that date or so. When should I call it quits and not get my hopes up. Thank you in advance for the response.

This forum has been so very helpful while waiting. Here is my partial timeline:
Applied- May 2021
ROSA- June 2021
Status is still showing qualifications under review. I graduate beginning of January 2022. I had also put Daytona Beach as a location and have not heard anything yet. Has anyone heard for Scranton or Lancaster, PA?
Congratulations to everyone that has gotten offers!

Was just checking my status on USA Jobs IRS portal, saw an “onboarding” button, and found out I was offered the job. The email was supposed to be sent last week lol. Anyway, my issue is that’s it’s not for any of the PODs I chose. I could make the commute currently (at least temporarily) but I would really like to see if I can get into another POD. However, I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Can anyone help/advise on this? Thanks.

Yeah accept the job. Currently everyone is working from home.
As long as you’re within 150 miles you’re good

Timeline Applied: May 20 ROSA: May 24 BQ Referred GS7: August 4th, BQ Wave2 Referred GS7: August 5th Silence...no interivew. I reached out to HR September 9th and received a response within an hour. I was told that there were no selections made for grade 7. My question is, was this only for the POD that I BQ'd for? Or is this the end and just apply next fiscal year? I haven't received any other BQ emails for the other 2 PODs that I applied to either. Edited by user Monday, September 13, 2021 8:17:49 AM(UTC)

I've still had no official contact since accepting my FO two weeks ago. HR isn't being very responsive. I'm going to make the jump and put in my two weeks notice today. Start date is 09/27. If anyone has any info on when/how they were contacted by their POD after accepting their FO id like to hear it!

Thanks. I don't know much more than you, but my onboarding was done through a USA jobs website not the irs portal. I think you can accept the TO and still be considered for other PODs. But if its a FO you would be declining all other PODs to accept it.
