Hey all,
Question I can't seem to get answered by anyone locally. Currently, I am a city carrier (NALC) on the table 2 pay scale, specially a Grade 1, step F.
I recently applied, interviewed, and got accepted for DSI full time position (APWU) that take effect in a couple weeks officially due to HR reasons on paper. Currently, I am doing it as an Ad-hoc position until it officially goes through on a PS-50.
This position starts as a Level 8. My question is does my step transfer over from NALC to APWU, in this case my step F, transfer from the old union pay scale to the new pay scale?
I'm familiar with reading the APWU's new pay chart since their contract just got passed but I'm trying to figure out what step specifically i would start off in in that grade 8.
Has anyone had experience transferring from one union pay scale to another?
Of course they cant make this easy. Thanks y'all

When I transferred from Mailhandler to Maintenance (APWU), the dollar amount of my grade and step were carried over and rounded up to the next appropriate step in the appropriate grade dollar amount.
