ill bet craig makes another 15% 20% on crypto again today because once again perfectly timed the market, sold right before the huge dump, and then picked it up so much cheaper

If I had his ability, I would not be working at

Just because you suck at life doesn’t mean everyone else does.

Nope. I’m in the red across the board today. Still green long term.

That dog on the DOGE coin is so-o cute.

Seems like a good day to buy (the day the crypto "crashed"). Who knows.
I actually bought a few different cryptos.

As an aside, it was surprisingly difficult/disappointing (then surprisingly easy) to purchase crypto.
I wrongfully assumed I could purchase through my brokerage account. Lord knows it lets me purchase virtually everything else in the world and execute every possible trade.
But not crypto. I guess most traditional brokerages consider it too risky and speculative.

I went to Plan B (PayPal). Although disappointed, it was extremely easy.

p.s. I'm not smart enough to be a day trader or market timer. I wouldn't be surprised if my crypto investments double/triple in a year or end up at zero.

its a nice feature on paypal, but has fees on the front and back end, plus it doesnt offer many of the cryptos out there, but through paypal is super easy, as you dont have to do anything extra...things like coinbase require you to direct link a bank account, or id have gotten in on bitcoin in nov 2013, and doge in jan 2021...

You sell it right on PayPal. The same way you bought it.
Just click on sell.

You don't own any actual coins.
Although a Bitcoin is "worth" about $40K, you can buy $100, $50 or even less of Bitcoin on PayPal.
You'll get a fractional share (based on your purchase amount).
The fees are reasonable. I think they were 2.3%. A $100 purchase would cost you $102.30.

It is pretty cool. I can see how it can become addicting. Like gambling.
Buying and selling Bitcoin (also Ethereum and Litecoin) for as little as a dollar.

I just now logged into my Paypal account.

I created the account years ago and never did anything with it...nothing.

Now I'm back in and watched a ton of Youtube videos but didn't like what I was hearing. You had to jump through 20 hoops to buy crypto but nobody talked about how to sell it. Too complicated.

But this...Paypal...just might be my way in.

Thanks guys.

*EDIT*

All I see available is Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum.

Where's all of the rest of the crypto?

I've looked and looked but all I see are those four.

those are the only ones available on paypal, the other stuff you have to create a 'wallet' for and join up to a site linking a bank account in most cases, hence why paypal is easy

Just checked my account too. I wish Paypal provides more options in the near future, ie: Dodgecoin, chainlink and others.
I am a professional toilet scrubber for 38 yrs and never carried b4.
I like to file 1767 for the heck of it.

Probably if more people contacted PayPal about offering more than just the four they have available, they might make more open.

Supposedly there's over $70 billion in DOGE floating around. You'd think they'd want some of that.
