I was recently looking through cases on the ECAB and I saw numerous Orders that were for the USPS where cases were dismissed because more than 180 days had past since the appeals were filed. Hmmm.......I was looking at my case that I filed back in 2019 and realized that the issue date and the served on dates had been changed to 2021. Well I don't know what happened but if I had not noticed it, this rule might have been applied to my current case that I am waiting on. To others who are waiting like me, if you filed a case and you are awaiting processing, you may want to check on your efiling to make sure everything looks/is correct. IJS!
