I have my heart set on coming back overseas once I retire, at age 63 1/2, from Federal Service. I'd really like to teach for UMGC. My credentials are an MPH with an undergrad in biology. No teaching experience to speak of.

Is this doable? Has anyone on this forum attempted to, or were successful at applying for a position with UMGC?

Can anyone give me any advice?

In terms of college teaching in general......

Having a masters woukd qualify you for teaching at a community college level.

For a 4 yr university you can teach lower level classes or teaching in a field you have a ton of experience in.

You will need to try and get experience teaching classes by teaching a community college class
