So, I had an interview about two months ago.

USAJOB status still says referred.

I emailed the HR listed on the announcement and the person that interviewed me.


No response.


Is this the norm for EPA?


If I didnt make the cut, just update my USAJOBS status.


this is frustrating

and these folks, wanted to do the interview the same day that they called me.

I do not think they are slow. I would suggest following the link to the EPA website for status update. If it has been 2 months, your chances are very small. As a rule, if you don't have a TO within 7-14 days forget about it. I can speak from experience. I was waiting and did not realize I was "not hired" until I viewed the EPA site.

yup I didn't get it.

HR did not respond to my email

Hiring official didn't respond either.

USAJOBS was finally updated to not selected.

That's not true. I just got a TO 5 weeks after my interview. I know people who go offers months after too.
