Like the subject says, I transferred from OWCP to OPM disability in late January 2021. It’s now almost July and, nope, haven’t seen a dime from these people.
Ok I divorced 7 years ago, I filed the paperwork regarding the x then and included it with my disability package (which was approved)…
I’ve called OPM every few weeks and I can’t get a straight answer to anything, as in where is my package and what is the process it goes through. I can’t even get a general timeline when to I can even almost receive an annuity. And I was told I can’t get an interim payment.
At this point, I’m paying my insurance, mortgage, bills with the little VA disability coming in, at this point I’m wondering when I am going to have to start selling my blood plasma.
Does anyone have a clue to the process?
Why are people transferring from OWCP to OPM disability ineligible for interim payment? OPM calculated payment when I was approved…
How much longer can this be dragged on?
…great I know I’ll get months of back pay maybe but in the meantime I’m struggling here.

Have you tried calling OPM to request interim payment?
