The requirement for using FMLA is 1 year/1250 hours of full time work.
What if I transfer agencies in that timeframe. My situation, I did 9 months in DOD now transferring to IRS. The baby is due in January. I'll have 12 months in January if my DOD time transfers over for FMLA purposes.
Does anyone know if my time will transfer and I'll bee eligible or the clock would reset and my 1 year will restart in oCTOBER.
Thanks!

Not entirely sure. But I work for DoD and usaully it doesn't matter what agency u work for all government work counts towards your SCD date. I could be wrong though. Like there's a guy in my agency who has 5 years at our office. But he also has 10 years of Navy service. His SCD date is May 21, 2006.
