I was wondering if anyone has heard of whether or not OPM or other Departments are considering increasing the amount of use or lose leave that employees can carryover. Due to the pandemic, so many more employees have significant use or lose leave balances however many people are holding tight and not taking leave due to discussions that there may be a decision that would increase the leave carryover ceiling to 300 hrs. Does this rumor have any merit to it? Thanks in advance for feedback and insight!

No indication max will increase. The pandemic has nothing to do with employees not using annual leave. The masses of employees teleworking are "working" while on holiday.

But to listen to a lot of folks, if they cant go anywhere, then they "cant" take their annual leave. As if its mandatory to leave town in order to use AL.
