Simple. I was previously in a 6c covered position. Left government and now back in years later, can I apply to another 6c covered position even though I am past 37. I am fit enough to do mandatory physicals I just want to do the job and retire when its time. Is it possible to get hired at 49. Willing and able to pass PT Test and all applicable physical requirements.

I asked my uncle about your question and he stated that the age requirements are usually set unless an agency decides to give a waiver. He has been retired about 8 years now and he has never remembered anyone getting a waiver for the age requirement in his 20 years of service.

He mentioned something about Secondary positions or Administrative LE positions which don't have the age requirements.
