It might also be because I didn't complete my medical until June 3 and I know there can be a delay of a few weeks before the FO. Either way, I reached out to the general email to see if I have a new assigned HR rep, but I've heard that a response from that email address will take a very long time if it ever comes at all. When I visited my POD a few weeks ago, I met some people who took 3 years to go through this process so I'm not too disheartened yet!

I wonder if I had the same contact that dormar said left in May…

Is there anyone that had issues with their follow-ups. I have ADHD and they want me to follow up with a psychiatrist but I haven’t seen them in years because the medication is prescribed by my primary care doctor. I tried to get into my old psychiatrist but his earliest available was July 21st which exceeds the 30 day deadline. Should I try to get an extension or see if I can get into a different psychiatrist? And tips or recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

Im a little confused. When I got the call for my FO I was told August 16th, but when I got the email it said,
arrive July 21, 2022 start July 22, 2022 End July 25, 2022 Depart July 25, 2022
That's only 3-4 days??? U assumed the entire thing was just a type at first but now im seeing others say they were moved to july, so should I plan for July now instead?

They rearranged some classes so it looks like you are starting in the July class now and not the August class. The email you received is just for pre-basic. You'll get another two emails - one for CITP and one for SAIT. CITP will start likely the business day after July 25.

I have been reading this forum for quite some time but I am posting for the first time. I want to thank everyone for sharing your experiences thus far. Like someone said earlier, this forum has helped a lot when waiting for the next phase of the process. I live in a pretty rural area, therefore, completing the medical exam took much longer than most of you all it seems. My medical exam docs were submitted last Friday and I was anticipating receiving information regarding follow-up docs for medical exam. However, I have not received communication as of yet. For those of you who did complete follow-ups, how long did it take to receive communication that a follow-up was required?

For those of you who did complete follow-ups, how long did it take to receive communication that a follow-up was required? You will be notified if a follow-up is required when you receive the results of the medical examination via UPS. I had my initial medical on 5/18. Because the medical facility didn't perform all the required tests, I had to return on 5/24 for some additional testing. My UPS package arrived on 6/7, so that is 20 days from the time I had my medical to receipt of results, with the minor hiccup in my process.

My EOD is 07/05/2022 but I still have not been contacted by anyone. I dont know where to report, what time, who to report to. I dont know if I need to go get a new PIV card made. My current manager doesn't know what I should turn in and what I should keep because I am currently an IRS employee. Has anyone else not be contacted? I reached out to HR but my contact doesn't ever respond to me

Feel free to reach out to them and ask. Sometimes stuff is stuck up the chain in someone’s inbox. Do you mean the HCO contact? I’ve never heard of them responding to anyone and they’re not involved in onboarding. If you don’t have a local contact, go here, scroll all the way down to where it says “our recruiters” and open the file. Look for the one for your field office and email. https://www.jobs.irs.gov...estigation-special-agent

When I got the phone call for my FO, I was told someone would be reaching out to me, but no one has. I will reach out to the three contacts I have from back when I was interviewed. I just didn't want to bother them. Yes, by "HR Contact" I am referring to the Human Resource Specialist with HCO who's name is at the bottom of my emails with my TO and FO. That is the only contact I have, but she never responds. If I do not hear back from the SA and SSA's that did my interview then I will reach out to my local recruiter from that list, thank you.
