Anyone know if we’ll have a chance at the current opening, or is there a period of time you have to wait after failing KASE? I passed last time, so I am hopeful I could pass again.

It’s my understanding from the information sessions that there is a period that you have to wait. I don’t remember how long but that it was either 6 or 12 months. If it’s 6 months then you may be able to apply again in the 2022 application, so I’d maybe email and ask.

Additional email received for referral for locations and GL level. Nothing about category but if further information or interview is required that will be contacted further.

I also received an email saying I am qualified for 7/9 and then received another email saying I was referred to the hiring manager. Nothing about what category I tested in.

I got a referral email as well. I think k we're all in the same boat of not being notified about Cat rating.

I'm guessing with Referrals that our Cat rating made the cut.

I was just curious if anyone was familiar with the wait times to hear about an interview and if we will receive an email if we are not selected for an interview?

Should we apply for the 2022 opening to keep things moving just in case?

What I heard today was field offices should be reaching out to set up interviews in the next few weeks.

Criminal Investigator (Special Agent), GS-1811-11/12
Announcement: 22-11415808C-CIS-1811-11/12

Hope they can use my KASE scores from this posting and bump me directly up to the interview stage. Sure would be nice to get the GS12 instead of the GS9, but I’ll take it either one honestly
