Can you request a voluntary furlough if you are a seasonal worker but management keeps extending your seasonal agreement? If so, is there a minimum / maximum furlough period?

Yes. Once you fulfill your original contract you don’t have to sign extensions. You can put yourself into non-pay status until the end of the year. You are required to report back to work upon the recall which is typically in January.

Can you go back to seasonal from permanent? Thinking seriously of going back to seasonal. Honestly I took more on than I really wanted going permanent to do my part. Its not worth the stress of the profanity laced rants I have to hear as a CSR.

You can certainly be hired for a different job that is seasonal. Unfortunately most of them seem to be phone based. :(
