scheduled to have a tkr. I have Medicare A and BC/BS basic--what costs will I be responsible for? It is scheduled in an ambulatory care center so less than 23 hour stay after surgery.

Medicare part A is for stays of 24 hours or longer so without part B Medicare would pay nothing.

If all your providers are in network your copays with BCBS would be $200 for the surgeon, $100 for the facility.
