Internal Revenue Service
As a bureau of the Department of the Treasury and as one of the world's most efficient tax administrators, the IRS role is to help the large majority of compliant taxpayers with the tax law, while ensuring that the minority who are unwilling to comply pay their fair share. (Source: www.irs.gov)
This forum will allow you to share and ask job-related questions about this bureau. This is NOT the place to ask tax questions.

If they don't know your real name, what are you afraid of? Very unlikely someone is out to get you and try to figure out who you are irl. I could be wrong.....lol.

I had coworker ask if I posted something on this blog. It wasn't me but their super sleuth skills were impressive.

It seems like it doesn't matter what IRS job you're interviewing for, at some point they are going to bring up ___________________. Someone said not to mention what the interview questions are, so that's all I can say!

IRS has really nice people. I've been on two interviews ... I thought they were polite and professional. Can't wait to start working with them!

So you have been a member user here since 2013. No idea if your history is longer than that but in those 8+ years how many IRS announcements have you applied to? 2 interviews from how many applications?
