Hi all,
I had to decline an offer a year ago due to pay and having a detail assignment I needed to finish. A year later, I am able to take the role but I have to ask the hiring manager if they have any vacancies again. Any suggestions or advice?

I was in a similar situation once, contacted the HR office and all they said was wait for another announcement to open up. I suspect you might get a similar response. |

I once declined a position due to personal reasons. A few weeks later my situation changed, and I emailed the hiring official to let them know I would be interested in the position when it posted again. They hadn’t filled it yet and I was selected non-competitively. If you interested there is no harm and reaching out to express interest. Worse case, they tell you to pound sand. |
The excuse of, "I read it on FederalSoup..." won't work. Please do your due diligence. |
