Hi all,
I recently received two tentative offers from the Census Bureau. The grades and promotion potential are the same. I'm now struggling to choose one between the two.
The regional office offer has the supervisory status, whereas the HQ position is a regular statistician. This is my very first post here, and I appreciate your input! I'd like to know that:
1. How's the work culture/routine like in the regional offices vs. Suitland HQ?
2. As a quiet technical person, which one is better for career advancement?
3. In general, which place (suburbs of Chicago vs. DC/MD) is better to live in?
So here're the job information & application timelines.
