Hey everyone genuinely curious but is briefly holding an unlit joint of marijuana for a few seconds reportable? I talked to my FSO team and they told me to not worry about it because I was holding it for a friend while he emptied his pockets and couldn’t use the drug because it was unlit. I am worried that even though I don’t believe this as drug use but I’m not sure what those who are familiar with the SEAD guidelines view as technical use.
I know this sounds bizzare but I am actually curious as to how I should go about this to avoid future consequences with my clearance eligibility as I don’t want to be viewed as hiding anything.

They are not looking specifically for your use. They want to know you are not around other lawbreakers. However, you were in clear possession of the drug, possession is 9/10th's of the law, the Policeman would have taken you away
