Is that normal for NASA?

Is that normal for NASA? Yes, if they expect a large volume of applicants, they shorten the announcement open time. Typically we open for a week or two but it all depends on the job series, etc. I've seen as low as 2 days, and as long as a month. The Associate Administrator (SES) over this position is great and I've worked with the folks in this division quite a bit.
